There are ATMs located in the center of Leiden and at the nearby Stevenshof shopping center. For more information, please ask at reception.

CCTV Surveillance
For your safety and ours, CCTV surveillance is in operation throughout the hotel.

Our hotel holds the Gold Green Key certificate—an international eco-label for sustainable organizations in the tourism, recreation, meeting, and conference sectors.

Pets
Pets are not allowed anywhere in the hotel or restaurant, except for (guide) dogs or assistance dogs. Dogs are permitted on the terrace during summer months, provided they are kept on a leash.

House Rules
Our house rules are available for review at reception.

Accessible Toilet
The restaurant has an accessible toilet located in the main building near the restroom facilities. It is reachable by elevator.

Complaints and Feedback
Should you have any complaints or comments, please report them directly to reception or email us at leiden@valk.com.

Night Porter
Reception is staffed 24 hours a day and can be reached by dialing 9. From 11:00 PM, only the main entrance remains open. If the entrance is closed, please use the intercom located next to the main entrance to gain access.

Emergency Exits
All emergency exits are clearly marked and equipped with emergency lighting. For your safety, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the emergency exits upon arrival. A floor plan with evacuation routes can also be found on the inside of your room door.

Tourist Tax
Every guest staying at our hotel is required to pay tourist tax. This amount is set by the Municipality of Leiden and is collected by Hotel Leiden on their behalf.

Baby Beds
Baby beds can be arranged for you by the reception desk. Please note that a surcharge applies.

Luggage
Luggage trolleys are available at reception. We kindly ask you to return them after use.

Electricity
The mains voltage is 220V. Universal adapters can be purchased at reception.

Hairdryer
A hairdryer is provided in every bathroom.

Lost & Found
For lost or found items, please contact reception. Hotel Leiden cannot be held liable for the loss of personal belongings.

Housekeeping
Housekeeping services are available from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. For any questions or requests related to housekeeping, please contact reception (dial 9).

Internet/WiFi
Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the hotel and on the terrace. Please connect to the network named “Hotel Leiden”.

Safe
We advise you not to leave valuables unattended in your room. A safe with a combination lock is available free of charge in your room. Instructions are located on the outside of the safe door. Please note that the hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to your belongings.

Mini Fridge
All rooms are equipped with a small, empty mini fridge which you may use freely. Minibar boxes are available for purchase at reception.

Coffee & Tea Facilities
All rooms come with coffee and tea making facilities. Housekeeping will replenish supplies daily upon use.

Pillows and Blankets
If you require extra pillows, blankets or coat hangers please contact reception (dial 9). An extra pillow is available in your wardrobe.

Do Not Disturb
If you wish not to be disturbed, please hang the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the outside of your door. When displayed, housekeeping will not clean your room. However, please note that housekeeping is required to clean your room at least three times per week.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the hotel. Smoking is allowed on your balcony provided the sliding door is closed. If smoking is detected inside your room, a cleaning fee of €250 will be charged.

Room Service
To order room service, please scan the QR code on the room service flyer to view the full menu. Orders can be placed within the designated service hours.

Key Card
We kindly ask that you return your key card to reception upon departure.

Iron and Ironing Board
An iron and ironing board are available at reception for your use.

Technical Issues
Should you experience any issues in your room, please report them to reception so we can assist you promptly.

Laundry/Dry Cleaning
Laundry and dry cleaning services are available. You will find a laundry bag and form in your wardrobe. Please fill out the form and place your clothes in the laundry bag.

Wake-Up Service
If you would like to use our wake-up service, please provide your room number and desired wake-up time to reception (dial 9).

Mooring
If you wish to moor your boat, please notify our reception desk as we have limited docking spaces available.

Bicycle Storage
We offer our hotel guests a secure, covered, and well-lit bicycle storage area equipped with a charging station. The storage can be locked for your peace of mind.

Public Transport
Bus line 43 connects you to Leiden Central Station. The bus stop is conveniently located just across the bridge/road. For current schedules, please ask at reception.

Electric Vehicle Charging
Our hotel features multiple electric vehicle charging points situated opposite the main entrance.

Parking
Complimentary parking is available next to the hotel in designated spots. Reserved parking spaces for guests with reduced mobility are also provided. Additionally, there is a second parking area at the front of the hotel. Kindly keep all pathways clear to allow access for emergency services.

Leiden City Centre Parking
The Haagweg City Parking facility, adjacent to the historic city centre, offers 750 parking spaces just a 5-minute walk from downtown Leiden. Frequent free city shuttles operate from this lot to all main locations within the city centre. Guests of our hotel can purchase discounted day tickets at reception.

Restaurant
Our kitchen is open daily from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. We kindly recommend making a dinner reservation by contacting the reception (dial 9). Our brasserie offers a menu with snacks and dishes. You may order main dishes until 10:00 PM and snacks until 11:00 PM.

Breakfast
The breakfast buffet is served in our restaurant Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

The cost is €19.50 per person if booked together with your overnight stay. For guests not staying at the hotel, breakfast costs €22.50 per person. If you wish to have breakfast served in your room, please notify the reception no later than 10:00 PM the evening before. The additional charge for this service is €7.50 per person.

Brunch
Every Saturday and Sunday, as well as on select public holidays, we serve an extensive brunch buffet in our restaurant between 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM.

Dietary Requirements / Allergies
If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please inform the reception (dial 9). Our kitchen will do its best to accommodate your needs, provided we receive advance notice.

Weather permitting, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks on our beautiful terrace by the water.
